Major Health Scare

Fundamental care for your health

Reduce the risk of future health shocks

If you’ve had a major health scare, the time to act is NOW.  A heart attack, stroke or other major health event usually hits after 40, but whatever age, don’t waste a moment in denial or apathy. If you don’t take stock of your health and make changes, you’re likely to face degeneration, discomfort, disease and, ultimately, premature death.

Take control and never be caught off guard again.

It’s time to take notice, learn, change, accept help, be accountable to yourself and others, effect real change, and – most importantly – safely rehabilitate and extend your health expectancy.

Gevity gives you the tools to turn a negative diagnosis into a positive, life-saving event.  Let Gevity improve the connection with your doctor and ensure you’re always ahead of the game.  Gevity helps guard you against poor health and all its devastating consequences for you and your family.

Easy to use dashboard

iPhone-Front-Dashboard

The Gevity Dashboard shows your health status at a glance.  As your data streams in from wireless devices, it’s summarised across 7 multifaceted areas.

Your progress in each area is represented as a coloured circle, so it’s very easy to tell if you’re on track to meeting your health goals and clinical targets.

All the information you need to achieve balanced health.

Powerful insight that fuels change

iPhone-Front-Risk-Profile

Gevity’s Risk Profile uses the same clinically proven algorithms used by doctors to predict your future health risks.

Using the health data captured via the dashboard, Gevity automatically calculates the likelihood of future health events.

This shows how your current health and lifestyle choices directly affect your long-term wellbeing.

Powerful insight helping maximise both life and health expectancy.

Comprehensive health plan

iPhone-Front-Health-Plan

The Gevity Health Plan is comprised of four different plans – medication, monitoring, nutrition and exercise – developed by you or experts such as GPs, specialists, nurses, exercise physiologists, physiotherapists or dietitians.

Here’s how it works: If you’ve had a heart attack, as part of your rehabilitation your cardiologist may have referred you to an exercise physiologist, dietician and nurse to closely monitor your recovery. The members of your care network would prescribe a series of exercise, dietary and medication requirements, plus daily monitoring of blood pressure and weight.

Plug these into your Health Plan and Gevity will consolidates your actions onto one simple screen. This lets you focus just on what needs to be done today.

If you choose to share your data with health professionals, family and caregivers, they can monitor your compliance and help you safely rehabilitate. Once you’re back on your feet, Gevity will keep you on track to avoid any reoccurrence.

Get back on track, one step at a time, one day at a time.

Testimonial – Gary

A ‘mini stroke’ at the age of 53 changed Gary’s life. Although the [now] 67-year-old has no lingering effects, he remains on several medications and has regular reviews with his GP and specialists.  Gary has also adopted a much healthier lifestyle and has counted his steps for more than a decade. However, he’s keen to lose weight and avoid any more health scares.

“I think about getting old – I could bear going deaf or losing my eyesight but what motivates me most is remaining mobile. I also worry about Type 2 diabetes. If you get diabetes your life changes dramatically, so you really need to make sure those variables are under control. It’s all part of it.”

“People like me who’ve had a major health scare need to measure things. That’s why I like Gevity: It brings all this stuff together in one place …my FitBit, Aria scales and BP monitor wirelessly measure my data each day.“

As one of the first people to sign up to Gevity, Gary has uploaded his steps from the past 18 months and is building an accurate daily profile to share with his care team.

“It’s my own health and wellbeing record. The next step is for my GP to use Gevity in my care plan and he’s quite excited by it. I also want my cardiologist to see my data.”

“If I can be tech savvy and use the Gevity App, a 40-year-old will be even better than me! People like me who want to know what’s going on with their health and how it’s coming together are better off with Gevity.”

Supported devices and apps

We’ve worked really hard to ensure Gevity wirelessly connects with a wide range of devices and apps to monitor your heart, fitness, bloods, weight, sleep and food intake.  With wireless inputs, there’s no need to manually enter this data into Gevity.  It’s never been easier to track your health!

Alternatively, if you already have some non-wireless devices (e.g. a standalone blood pressure monitor), that’s fine too.  Simply enter the data directly into Gevity.
